What the enquiry form collects
We collect the name, email address, project postcode, optional phone number, project details and any design, comparison or document link you choose to send. Do not include payment details or sensitive personal information. A reference helps us identify your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, assess the project, prepare a quotation and take steps you request before a contract. If you become a customer, we use the information needed to perform that contract and provide aftercare. We also have a legitimate interest in managing correspondence, preventing misuse and maintaining service records. Records needed for legal or accounting obligations are handled for those obligations. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to marketing.
How sending works
Pressing Send transmits the form securely to FormSubmit, an external form-delivery provider, for delivery to sales@stratton-hq.co.uk. Your browser stays on this website. We show a confirmation only when the delivery service accepts the request; this does not confirm that a member of our team has read it. A failed request keeps your entries on the current page so you can retry.
FormSubmit’s help page states that it retains submissions awaiting activation for 30 days. Read the provider’s privacy policy. Your enquiry also passes through our email provider. The site host may process technical logs for security and reliable operation. We share project information with suppliers or installers only where needed to assess, quote, carry out or support the work, and where required by law.
How long information is kept
The website does not save form entries in browser storage or put personal contact details in the page address. A downloaded enquiry receipt is saved on your device. Enquiries received by the business are retained while the discussion is active and for an appropriate period afterwards, taking account of the need to answer follow-up questions, manage complaints and establish or defend claims. Customer, guarantee and financial records may need longer retention for their contractual or legal purpose. Contact us for the period applicable to your record.
Your comparisons and designs
Product selections, approximate dimensions and comparison answers are encoded in the page address. Copying a design link shares these choices, without your personal contact fields. Anyone who has the link and access to the website can see the design. The designers do not use browser storage. Downloaded design images are saved on your device.
Cookies and external services
This site includes no advertising or marketing analytics scripts. Its own images, fonts and application files are hosted with the site. The hosting service may use essential access and security functionality. FormSubmit receives your enquiry when you submit; a shared document link is handled by the provider you choose. Manufacturer, map and other external links have their own privacy practices.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the address above so we can identify the relevant record and respond. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
