Can I replace the glass without changing the window?

Often, yes, if the frame and operating parts are suitable. We can assess failed sealed units and discuss replacement glass before recommending a complete window.

What is the difference between a glass and window U-value?

A glass U-value describes the glazing. A whole-window U-value also accounts for the frame and edge of the glass. Compare like-for-like figures for the complete windows you are considering.

Can you help with period properties?

Yes. Tell us about the building and any planning or conservation requirements. We can discuss suitable styles and details, with final choices subject to the requirements for your property.

Can you match windows with new doors?

We can coordinate materials, colours and styles across a project. Matching a colour reference does not guarantee identical sheen or texture, so physical samples are important.
